About the Game

Evershard is a fast-paced action platformer where you take on the role of The First, a lone warrior undergoing a brutal trial to prove himself worthy of becoming the first Shard Keeper. To succeed, you must traverse treacherous landscapes, overcome deadly platforming challenges, and battle fierce entities that exist to stop you.

This early demo is all about gameplay—giving you a taste of the movement, combat, and level design. Storytelling and cutscenes are a huge part of the full game, and you'll see those in the next version (the official demo coming soon!).

What’s in this demo?

⚡ One full level from a larger realm (each realm has 5 levels, with a total of 20 in the full game).
⚡ Tight platforming & combat – Master jumps, dashes, and precise movement while dealing with threats.
⚡ Mini-boss fight – A challenging encounter to test your skills.
⚡ A first look at the game’s atmosphere and world.

Controls & Support

🎮 Both keyboard and gamepads are supported!

Movement – Arrow Keys (Keyboard) / Left Analog Stick (Xbox/PS5)

Jump – Spacebar (Keyboard) / A (Xbox) / X (PS5)

Dash – Shift (Keyboard) / B (Xbox) / Circle (PS5)

Shoot – Ctrl (Keyboard) / X (Xbox) / Square (PS5)

💡Game Tip: Master movement by combining jumps, double jumps, and dashes to chain platforming combos. Some areas require precise timing—delaying your double jump at the right moment can help you reach tough spots!
